tied up in captivity below deck, or lying at the bottom of the stairs
in the haul, usually.

FAVORITE BOOK: The World According to Bunting, consisting mainly of
black and white photographs of me looking surly.

THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD IS: Having Hornblower short of crew
and him needing my help

THE WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD IS: Finding out I was wrong about
Hornblower needing my help. Also getting flogged by my shipmates and
seeing one of me own shipmates die.
